The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant ( Police Hawaldar No-30674) , aged 56 yrs, resides at the above mentioned address since 8 yrs with his  family. The Complainant  joined Mumbai Police Force in the year 1992 as a Police Constable and since 2018 have been performing general duty at Nagpada Transport Division. 

On 01/06/2022 the Complainant reported for day duty at Nagpada Transport Department at 09.00 am. According to the order of S.P.I. Nagpada Transport Department, Mumbai,

According to the order of Nagpada Traffic Department, Mumbai, special operation for appropriate legal action against vehicles and drivers who violate traffic rules was carried. At about 10.50 hours, while Police Hawaldar No.32559 and the Complainant were patrolling in Police Station Precinct near Saat Rasta circle, Agripada, Mumbai,  a  scooter rider was found driving his bike MH-01 AQ-0439 in the opposite direction of traffic at high speed negligently and recklessly, endangering the life of himself and others.

Hence the squad stopped the accused and asked about the driver’s license, accused gave his name as Ahsan Azgar Syed, age 23 years, address given as above. The complainant after informing the accused about the violation of traffic rules, said vehicle and the driver was taken into custody and brought to Agripada Police Station for filing complaint .

Therefore, The complainant is filing this legal complaint against the accused  for driving the scooter recklessly at high speed against the direction of traffic, endangering his life as well as others.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
