The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.
The Complainant, aged 35yrs, resides at the above mentioned address since birth, with his family, i.e parents , his wife Neha age 34 years and son Abir age 08 years. The Complainant is employed at Hemant Paints and Hardware Stores , out of his income the livelihood is being earned for the family.
The Complainant’s grandmother Umarbai Chheda had a gold chain weighing one tola (10 grm) , which the Complainant used to wear the around his neck for the last 20 years after his grandmother passed away. Since there was immersion procession of Lalbag Raja Ganapati idol on 09/09/2022, The Complainant at around 08.00 p.m. Came at Bakri Adda, N.M. Joshi Marg, Mumbai with his friends. There was a huge crowd of devotees in the immersion procession of Lord Ganesha idol. At around 09.10 in the night, Complainant and his friends went to the cart where Lord Ganesha kept, to pay obeisance to Lord Ganesha. It was very crowded there. Around 09.30 hrs. at Vardhaman Metal Store, N M Joshi Marg, Byculla west. Mumbai-11, when the Complainant put his hand around his neck and could not find his gold chain, therefore he looked around for his gold chain but couldn’t find it.
The Complainant was then convinced that some unknown person(s’) had stolen his gold chain of the following description, thus have came to the police station to file a complaint;

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.
The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
