The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.
The Complainant, aged 70yrs, resides at the above mentioned address since 5 yrs, with his family, i.e wife Sunita Desai age 47 years, elder son Pankaj age 31 years, younger son Suraj age 29 years.. The Complainant is employed at Raju jewellers, out of his income the livelihood is being earned for the family.
In the year 2005, the Complainant have bought Gold Necklace (17 grams), Gold bell and chain (9 grams) for the use of his wife Mrs Sunita Desai. Also on August 2022 two pairs of silver painjan worth Rs.2400/- were made for their grand daughter Myra. These items are always kept in the cupboards in their house for safe keeping.
On 24/10/2022, Since it was Lakshmi Pujan day , the Complainant was at work and all his family members were at home. The Complainant came late to the home at around 01.00 am because there was a puja at his place of work. There was also a puja program at his house on evening , where his wife had arranged the puja table and for the puja she had taken out gold necklaces, all other gold and silver items from the cupboard and placed them on the table. At 01.30 am in the night, his son Suraj locked the door of the house from inside and all went to sleep. At around 08.00 am the Complainant woke up, opened the door without looking at Puja’s table, went to the bathroom (outside the house) without closing the door from outside , after sometime came back from the bathroom and went for a bath. Around 10.00 am. When his wife Sunita was looking for his clothes, she noticed that there were no necklaces, bell-chains and silver painjan (claws) on Laxmi Puja’s table preparation.
The Complainant was then convinced that some unknown person(s’) had stolen his gold chain of the following description, thus have came to the police station to file a complaint;

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.
The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
