The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 36yrs, resides at the above mentioned address with his family, joined Mumbai Police department in 2009 as Sepoy, , and is presently Hawaldar (No- 080526) serving in General duty in Nagpada Transport Division since 2022.     

The Complainant appeared at the Nagpada Transport dept for day duty on 29/06/2022 at 08:00.  According to the order of Nagpada Traffic Department, Mumbai, special operation for appropriate legal action against vehicles and drivers who violate traffic rules was carried. At about 11:26 hours, while Police Sepoy No.980741/Mane and the Complainant were patrolling in Police Station Precinct near Bus stop-168, Gadge maharaj Chauk, saat Rasta, byculla, Mumbai,  a  Motor cycle rider was found driving his bike MH-01 UA-3301 in the opposite direction of traffic at high speed negligently and recklessly, endangering the life of himself and others.

Hence the squad stopped the accused and asked about the driver’s license, accused gave his name as Mohd kalim Mohd Akram Qureshi, age 47yrs, address given as above.  The complainant after informing the accused about the violation of traffic rules, said vehicle and the driver was taken into custody and brought to Agripada Police Station for filing complaint .

Therefore, The complainant is filing this legal complaint against the accused   for driving the scooter recklessly at high speed against the direction of traffic, endangering his life as well as others.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
