The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.
The Complainant, aged 62yrs, resides alone at the above mentioned address since 8 months, with husband Balu Dhanawade age 72 runs ,son Sachin, aged 42 years, daughter in law Sarika, aged 38 years, The Complainant’s husband runs a small egg shop at Jai Ambe, KK Marg Mumbai, and son is a professional driver, out of their income the livelihood is being earned for the family.
The Complainant sit at their egg shop , when her husband comes home for dinner and till he returns. On 12/06/2022 , as usual at 11.30 AM when her husband came home asked her to sit in the shop , while the Complainant was sitting in the shop an unknown person came at approx 12.30 noon. The said person (accused) asked her for two eggs and engaged her in speaking. The said person (accused) asked her “where Sai Baba’s temple is?”, the Complainant told him that Sai temple is far from here, then accused asked her to donate some rupees to Sai temple on his behalf, So he offered some rupees and kept it in a plastic bag. Then accused asked her to put her mangalsutra (gold chain) in such plastic bag and say ‘Om Sai Om’, and knotted the plastic bag. And then engaged her in talking and left from there. After 10 minutes the Complainant looked into the bag and found 600 rupees and some biscuits but her gold mangalsutra was found in said bag. As her daughter Suchitra Yadav lives in front of the shop, the Complainant called her and told her about the incident and then they both searched for the culprit. Soon her husband and son were called , and all of them searched for said person (accused). But said person (accused) could not be found. At that time the Complainant realized that he had defrauded her by engaging her in talk and under the pretext of sai baba temple donation. The Complainant therefore have come to the police station to file a complaint against said stranger for deceiving, cheating and theft.
The accused is described as aged approximately 40 to 45 years, height 5 feet 6 inches, dark complexion, strong build, gray cap on head, off- white shirt and gray pant, speaking language- Marathi.

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.
The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
