Accused: 1) Mr. Sufiyan Ahmed Khurshid Ahmed Ansari, aged 25 years, Resident of cement Chawl, Room No. 11/A, Ground Floor, Byculla Station Road, Opposite Sushanthi Church, Byculla, Mumbai. (Mob-)
2) Mr. Aftab Maruf Khan , Resident of chawl no 7, room no 1, tank pakhadi road, behind transit camp, byculla west, Mumbai.
The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.
The Complainant, aged aged 39yrs, resides with family at the above-mentioned address since 20yrs.
The Complainant is working with the company ‘Amazon Transportation Service Pvt. Ltd.’ having its Registered Office At Block E, 14th Mala, Unit No 1401 To 1402, International Trade Tower, Nehru Place, New Delhi, 110019 and western region delivery Center Office Of The Company is at Ground Floor, Mohata Building, Moses Road, Worli, Mumbai-18 . The Complainant is working in said Company as Zonal Manager in Strategic Investigation Team, responsible for handling Western Division, i.e. states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The Complainant have been authorized by the said Company to file a complaint and appear before authorities
The Complainant informed that Amazon Company had appointed IHS space partner on October 2021, who has space available to deliver the goods , as distributor partner. Accordingly company keeps its goods at the IHS space warehouse, so that after the customer orders the goods online and the delivery of the said goods has to be done by the IHS space partner. The cargo is the responsibility of the IHS space partner.
Accused namely Mr. Sufiyan Ahmed Khurshid Ahmed Ansari & Mr. Aftab Maruf Khan are owners / partners of IHS space agency.
On 20/10/2021, a customer complained was received online that he had ordered a Samsung Galaxy M32 mobile but a soap was delivered instead of the said mobile. In this regard, when the company’s security team conducted an internal check, the said mobile phone was found on the system of the IHS space partner Shri. It was seen that the delivery was done by Aftab Maruf Khan. Therefore, when the security team and investigation team inspected the goods kept by the company at their IHS center, they found additional mobile phones of the following description which should have been delivered to the customers.

At that time accused Sufiyan Ahmed wrote in writing that Samsung Galaxy M32 was taken out of the box and kept soap in it and then delivered to the customer, whereas Redmi 9 was marked as defective and the mobile was taken out of the box . also accused Sufiyan Ahmed on enquiryed mobile namely Redmi 105 , confessed that it was purchased from second Accused i.e Mr. Aftab Maruf Khan, therefore the company’s security team conducted an investigation at his place , and found Mobiles mentioned in 4 – 6 missing , at that time he wrote and confessed in writing that Redmi 105, one plus Nord 25G and Samsung Galaxy M32 5G were sold out from the mobile box by embezzlement.
Agency of above mentioned IHS space partners have been terminated by the company on 25/11/2021. The complainant therefor have a legal complaint against the accused as they defrauded the company by embezzling the mobiles worth a total of Rs. 98294 /-
Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.
The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
