The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.
The Complainant, aged 25 yrs, resides at the above mentioned address with his father- Rafiq Ahmed Ansari, age 54 years, mother- Aisha Ansari, age 48 years, two brothers Shariq, age 21 years, and Saud age 19 years. The Complainant is teacher at private school and her brother is doing private job as a taxi driver, on such income livelihood is being earned for family.
The Complainant owns Black Activa Motor Scooter of Honda company (MH-01 BC-3768) which she used for all her personal work. On 25/06/2022 in the evening the complainant went to her uncle’s house at Dhobi Ghat, Mahalakshmi for work. From there at around 08:45 in the night she started her journey towards her residence on her motor scooter , when reached Saat rasta, Jacob Circle, opposite to Wellness Medical at around 09:00 PM, a motor car coming from behind hit her scooter from behind as a result she fell down and injured her right ankle , scratched her left elbow. Soon the people gathered to see the accident , and stopped the said motor car, it was a white color car of Hyundai company. (MH 01 DK 3981). when asked to the said motor car driver about his name, he said his name as Jayakumar Mobile no. as 8828110535. After that, when the complainant called her father to inform about the accident, after which the motor car driver ran away from the place without giving any medical help or informing the police. Then complainant’s mother in law Razia Moh Najib Ansari came to her aid as she saw the accident while passing by the said road.
The complainants father came at such place and took her in a taxi to Nair Hospital for treatment. The doctor at Nair Hospital treated her injury and took an X- ray of the right toe and told her that there was a fracture near the right ankle and advised her to plaster right toe and rest. Therefore the complainant have come to the police station to file a complaint against the motor car driver who caused the accident by driving his motor car recklessly and carelessly, and rammed the her motor scooter causing severe injury to her left elbow and fractured right ankle.
The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
