The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 60yrs, resides at the above mentioned address since 8 yrs with his  family. The Complainant and his wife Nisha has business of  Share Trading at Kemps corner Mohammad Mansion, Pan Galli, Khambala Hill Hospital, Near Grant Road Station Mumbai -36, Out of such income, livelihood is earned for family.

The Complainant have hired 3 workers to do housework and these workers lives in his  house. In October 2021, the Complainant had hired worker namely Balunath Shambhunath through the acquaintance of his friend Mridula Vora to do his housework  , who used to sweep the house. On 03/06/2022 a house function was organized at the Complainant’s home for the marriage of his daughter Rhea. The Complainant’s relatives also came for the said event, during the said event, 3 relatives offered Rhea some cash in 3 different pockets as a gift for her marriage approx Rs. 1,50,000/-  in  total . The Complainant’s  family counted that cash in the night and after calculating the said amount, they again put it in the same packets and then kept it in Riya’s drawer (bedroom). On 04/06/2022 , The Complainant left home for the office at 10.30 am. And his wife also came to office afterwards, around 12.30 pm. Complainant’s  wife got a call at 11.30 am, from their daughter Riya  and told that servant Balunath has left the house without telling anyone, and does not even picking up the phone. Then Complainant’s  wife asked her to see if yesterday’s money was in the drawer, after checking Ria confirmed that the money was not there. The Complainant tried to contact the servant on the phone, but his mobile phone was switched off.  

The Complainant was then convinced that Balunath Shambhunath has stolen the money . The description of the stolen item is as follows.

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police  officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi  and he confirmed the same.
