The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 25 yrs, resides at the above mentioned address since the 2 yrs with wife Afreen aged 25 years and 02 children . The Complainant have a vegetable selling business on the Jhula Maidan footpath, family earn livelihood from it.

Mohammad Salam Shaikh aged 45 years is a scrap dealer carries business at the same place. The Complainant and Mohammad Salam Shaikh have known each other for the last 4 years. On 26/06/2022 at 11.00 PM, the Complainant closed his vegetable selling business and was standing on the same pavement. At that time his acquaintance Mohammad Salam Shaikh had a fight with Mohsin Saifur Rahman Khan and Mohammad Faiyaz at Jhula Maidan Agripada, Mumbai. The Complainant went to settle the dispute, the accused Mohsin Saifur Rehman Khan started abusing & hitting him  by saying “m*d*rch*d tu bichme kyu aa raha hai/” and injured complainant’s eye. Mohammed Salam Sheikh was also beaten up. The other accused Mohammad Faiyaz who was also kicked Complainant. At that time, the police car on patrol came to the place and they resolved the quarrel and took all the concerned persons to the police station, after which the Complainant and Mohammad Salam Sheikh went to Nair Hospital for treatment , where the doctor examined them and said that the Complainant had an eye injury gave initial treatment.  The Complainant, therefore, came to file a complaint at the police station against accused for beating him and injuring his eye , also for beating Mohammad Salam Sheikh

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police  officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi  and he confirmed the same.
