The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.
The Complainant, aged 38 yrs, resides at the above mentioned address with father . The Complainant is doing nail cutting business, out of such income livelihood is being earned.
On 09/06/2022, at around 11:15 pm. the Complainant went to Byculla railway station to buy perfume, while returning to home, met his acquaintance Vishal Maraiyya in Cross Galli chowk, Shanimandir area, Byculla West, Mumbai 11. The accused Vishal Maraiyya was bully in the area he reside, so the Complainant always try to stay away from him. This time Vishal called the Complainant and started abusing him by saying “Idhar kya dekh raha hai? yahan kya zhadi mar raha hai? Kya?”. At that time the Complainant asked him not to use bad words against him, then Vishal’s friend Rishikesh asked him for a chillim to smoke ganja, the Complainant told him that he don’t have a chilim. Then Vishal’s friend Rishikesh and one more his bully came there, grabbed the Complainant from behind , and Rishikesh taken his waist belt out and started beating the Complainant. Seeing the fight, people gathered around. Seeing the people gathered, Vishal put his hand on his waist and said, “Nikalu kya saaman (weapon) ? koun aage aata hai me dekhta hu”. At this time, Vishal picked up the wooden bamboo lying around there and started spinning it in the air, so the gathered people started running around and the hawkers who were around closed their shops. Due to the blow, the Complainant lower left tooth fell out and upper lip was also injured and started bleeding. After that, Vishal left saying that if he saw the Complainant again, he will kill him. After that Vishal and his friends left and the Complainant went to Nair Hospital for treatment. After that I came to the police station to file a complaint against the accused for beating him and giving grievous injury to him.
Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.
The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
