The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 32, resides at the above mentioned permanent address , with his family i.e father Balasaheb Giri, age- 61 years, mother- Suvarna Giri, age- 54 years. The Complainant is working as a resident doctor at Nair Hospital, where he is doing 3rd year of medicine internship.   

The Complainant and his intern friend Mr Vineet Malgave, age 26 years is working and studying with him as doctor at the R. M. O. Quarters, R N. 207, Nair Hospital.

The Complainant bought HP Pavillion Laptop Series 15-eh2000(4V3L6AV) Serial Number- 5CD207JZ8D, three months back for his  personal use. The Complainant used to keep said laptop in his living room. Dr. Vineet was on duty in the ward from 08:00 AM on 12/09/2022 to 08:00 AM on 13/09/2022 as Resident Doctor. So the Complainant was alone in the room, on 13/09/2022 at around 02:00 PM the Complainant locked the main door of room and went for sleep I opened the door of my living room. At that time, the Complainant’s laptop and his wallet was kept on the study table in the room. Also his room partner Dr. Vineet’s Wallet was also kept on that table .

On 13/09/2022, at around 06:30 AM, Dr. Vineet came back to room, the Complainant opened the door for him and slept again and around 08:00 in the morning Dr. Vineet went back to the ward for duty keeping door open, as the Complainant was sleeping at that time Dr Vineet did not bother him for locking the door.

At around 08.20 in the morning, the Complainant saw a green T- shirt and black half pant, person pushed the door of the room and came in,  the Complainant thought it must be Dr Vineet or Istriwala, So he didn’t wake up. When the Complainant woke up around 08:30 AM, he did not see his laptop and wallet on the study table and also Vineet’s wallet on his study table. The Complainant looked around for it and also called and asked Dr Vineet. Dr Vineet said that when he left the room, he saw the laptop and the wallet on the table. The Complainant also asked the doctors staying in the adjacent room, but they also did not know anything about it. Therefore the Complainant was convinced that some unknown person(s’) had stolen his laptop and wallet, of the following description, thus have came to the police station to file a complaint;
