The Complainant, aged 38, resides at the above-mentioned address for 4 months with his wife – Dhanashree, age 38 years, son – Vedant, age 17 years, and daughter Akanksha, age 12 years. The Complainant works as a LIC agent and his family lives on the income earned from it.

On 13/01/2023 at around 6.30 PM, the Complainant was going for attending the workers’ meeting organized by MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar at Poisar, Kandivali East, on his motorcycle (Honda Activa no. MH47 F8188), while on his way to said meeting, Complainant stopped his motorcycle in front of the ICICI Bank ATM, Ganesh Nagar, Akurli Road, Kandivali East, Mumbai, as the traffic signal turned red. At that time almost all other vehicles stopped seeing the red signal, and there was no room to move on his left side, the accused bike rider (Honda Unicorn MH47 AH 8857) was forcefully moving his bike on the complainant’s left side.

So, when the Complainant asked the driver to stop pointing the red signal, the accused started shouting at him using abusive language. Then Complainant asked the accused to talk properly, but the accused got down from his bike, took off his helmet, and started beating the Complainant with his hands on his head. After that other people gathered there and stopped the accused and took both parties to the police station.

When the police asked for the name and address of the accused at the police station, he gave the above-mentioned details. Thereafter, the Police sent the Complainant to Shatabdi Hospital for treatment as Complainant had a head injury and bleeding.

Doctors at Shatabdi Hospital treated Complainant by giving stitches on his head, after which Complainant have come to the police station to file a complaint.

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Pravin Rane. The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi, and it was explained to him and he confirmed the same.
