The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 32 years, resides at the address mentioned above since his birth, with his family. The Complainant owns and uses Maruti Suzuki Super carry Tempo (MH-47-AS-5924) for plying goods on freight to various commercial shops, out of which the said business livelihood is being earned for his family.  

The Complainant, after returning to his house, generally parked the said Tempo at service Road, near the CNG pump station, opp. Haji dargah, Western Express Highway, Kandivali East, Mumbai – 400101.

On 14/01/2023 at around 11.00 pm, the Complainant parked his tempo at his usual parking spot, and then went home. On 15/01/2023 at 5.00 am in the morning, the Complainant left his house to catch tempo at the parking spot, as he had one assignment of plying, loading, and unloading goods. The Complainant straight away got into said tempo and started the same, however, said vehicle started making unusual & loud noise but as he needs to go for the given assignment, he neglected the same and kept on driving the vehicle. In a few hours, the Complainant completed his assignment and then took the said Tempo to Maruti Suzuki Service station at Malad West, Mumbai, where it was found that the Silencer of the said tempo is absent.    

Therefore, the Complainant was convinced that the silencer of said Tempo of the following description has been fraudulently stolen by some unknown person, in between the above-described timing of parking and resumption of activity: –

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Pravin Rane. The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi (gave a copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the veracity of the same.
