The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 60 years, resides at the above-mentioned address for 20 years along with his wife Imrati, age 55 years, and two married daughters namely Sarita, age 37 years, and Sunita, age 32 years. The Complainant is a carpenter, his wife sells sarees at home and his daughter Sarita runs a beauty parlor, from which the living of the family is earned.

The accused woman, Deepali Rajendra Kovyarali, age 39 years old, living in Shiv Shakti building adjacent to the Complainant house, is known to the Complainant’s family and the said woman resides with her husband Rajendra and her children. 

On 13/01/2023, around 9.30 pm in the night. The accused argued with Complainant’s daughter Sarita, beat her up, and threatened to kill her, as the accused suspected that her husband Rajendra is having an affair with Sarita. Due to this, on 13/01/2023 a complaint was lodged at Samta Nagar Police Station against the accused. Even after that, on 14/01/2023 the accused repeatedly called Complainant’s daughter Sarita on her mobile phone but Sarita neglected her calls.

On 16/01/2023 at around 10.30 pm in the night, the Complainant’s family members were having dinner, when the accused came in front of the Complainant’s residence with a knife in her hand and started shouting “Sarita ! tu bahar aa, tereko mai dikhati hu, main kaun hai”. The Complainant went out to the accused to explain but the accused abused Sarita as Randi Saali etc, the accused ran on Sarita’s body along with the knife in her hand, and while trying to stop her the accused stabbed Sarita’s hand with a knife, in the process accused injured her right thumb.

After that, when the complainant went to settle the fight between them, the accused tried stabbing the complainant, and in an attempt to stop her, the complainant’s left hand was injured by the knife and started bleeding. After that, the complainant along with her daughter Sarita went to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, Kandivali (W) to receive medical treatment.

 The Complainant, therefore, came to lodge to complaint against the accused, who attacked, abused, and threatened to kill him and his daughter Sarita.  

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Harshad Ramesh Ingole. The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him and he confirmed the same
