The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 19 years, resides at the above-mentioned address since last 8 years along with his family. The Complainant’s father works as security guard from which the living of the family is earned.

On 20/01/2023 at around 9:00 PM, the Complainant went to his friend Mohit Jaiswal’s house, aged around 20 years to watch Bangladesh IPL match on T.V. When the match was in full swing, and the ball was hit in the air by the Bangladeshi player, then out of excitement the complainant screamed “Catch it, Catch it“, that’s when Accused Mr Anand Mishra and his son Dhiraj Mishra, who were passing in front of my friend’s house, came towards the complainant and asked roughly “pakad, pakad, Kisko bol raha hain”, then the accused Anand Mishra grabbed my hair & the accused Dhiraj Mishra , pointing the finger at the complainant said “last warning de raha hu“, on which the complainant replied “maine kya kiya?”.

Then both the accused left from there. After some time, the accused came back and started beating the Complainant with hands before the Complainant could say anything. Anand Mishra punched the Complainant hard on his right shoulder, whereas Dhiraj was abusing the complainant.

After a while the Complainant’s sister namely Ms.Moni Jha, aged 22 years, came running, Mr. Anand Mishra hit her with his hand and ran away. Due to pain in the complainant’s shoulder, he went to Babasaheb Ambedkar Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivali (W), along with his father and brother for medical treatment and then came to the police station to lodge a complaint against the accused who attacked, abused and threatened him.  

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Atul Landge.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the veracity of the same.
