The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 36 years, resides at the above-mentioned address with his family i.e. wife, 03 children. The Complainant is in the business of repairing & selling mobiles of all types at at the same place and the income from it supports his family.  The Complainant resumes the business shop daily at 9:00 am and closes it around 11.00 pm.

On 23/01/2023 approximately between 09.30 to 10.00-morning hours, while repairing a mobile in the shop, our street boy named Sai (full name and address not available) came to the mobile shop and asked the Complainant to cut his mobile SIM card. The Complainant after cutting the SIM card with the help of pin, gave it back to the accused, thereafter he started targeting the rest of the customers. While attending the accused, the Complainant had kept all the mobiles received from the customers, on the counter.

After about 20 minutes a customer came to the complainant’s shop and asked whether the Mobile (Mi Note 7 Pro) that he had given for repairing, is done with. The Complainant, therefore searched his mobile on the counter and his usual place of keeping in the cupboard, thereafter, as sensed something wrong has happened, he checked the CCTV room footage of his shop, which showed that at the accused boy, who came earlier, was putting one mobile in his pocket. The Complainant showed the video footage from his mobile to the people around, to which some people realized that the boy’s name is Sai Prasad Ganesh Ghanekar alias Sai. The people who had knowledge of his whereabouts caught him and brought him to the police station, and along with them the complainant also came to the police station to report this.  The description of the mobile phone stolen from the shop is as under:
