Accused: Rohit Rajendra Prasad Singh age 34 years, & his nephew (GOLU),  resident of Bihari Tekdi, Kandivali East, Mumbai -400101 

The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 30 years, resides at the above-mentioned address since his birth along with his wife Binita, age 26 years, parents and two children. The Complainant is working with AMAZON co. and his father is a freelance house painter, out of said income the living of the family is earned.

The accused friend named Rohit Rajendra Prasad Singh, age 34 years, was living in Kranti Nagar, where the Complainant lives before 05 years, so they became good friends. The accused Rohit moved from Kranti Nagar to Bihari Hill, Poisar Kandivali East about 05 years ago. After that complainant & the accused used to meet once a while a month. When they were staying close at a Kranti Nagar, money was exchanged between them.

On 20/01/2023, at 05.00 pm, the Complainant went to meet the accused at his request at Muthoot Finance, Thakur Complex, Kandivali East, Mumbai. The accused after his work in Bank was over, at around 08.00 pm. the Complainant, accused and accused Rohit’s nephew Golu (full name not known) and other three of Rohit’s friends went to Sarathi Bar and Resto for lunch. At that time, we all drank alcohol and had dinner in the said restaurant.

At 11.00 pm Rohit’s three friends left, Thereafter, the Complainant, accused, and his nephew were talking in front of the Chariot Bar and Restaurant. At that time accused Rohit told the complainant that he wanted to go back to Vikram Singh’s house at Ramgarh, Damu nagar, Kandivali East, Mumbai for drinking. Then the Complainant told him that it was too late and refused to go with him, as his house members would be waiting for him at home. After listening complainant’s refusal, the accused Rohit got angry and started abusing him along with his nephew, they both pushed the complainant with their hands and started beating him, the Complainant tried to stop both of them but they pushed him down to the ground and started kicking him, when accused Rohit kicked the complainant hard on his right ankle and he screamed loudly when one passerby came to his rescue. As the complainant was not able to walk due to severe pain in his right ankle, the two unknown passersby helped him and took him to Banarasi Hotel, Akurli Road, Kandivali East. At that time the complainant called his wife there and she took him for home by rickshaw

After that, the next day in the morning, the complainant, went to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, Kandivali (W) to receive medical treatment, where after the X-ray, he was diagnosed of having a fracture in the said ankle.

The Complainant, therefore, came to the lodge to complain against the accused and his nephew, who attacked, abused, and threatened him.  Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Raju Korde.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi, and it was explained to him and he confirmed the same.
