The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 26 years, resides at the above-mentioned address since last 8 years along with cousin’s brother Tukaram Chavhan. The Complainant’s parents are residing at native village of Soudal, Taluka Rajapur, District: Ratnagiri. The Complainant has come to Mumbai since 2013 for work. Presently earning livelihood from the salary income by working with KGK Tower company (Jewelry business) at Rajendra Nagar Borivali.

On 29/01/2023, the Complainant was part of their local Vakratunda Mitra Mandal established Ganapati Visarjan procession on the occasion of Maghi Ganesha Jayanti from Khudus Compound, Gaondevi Road Poisar Kandivali started at 7:30 pm. When the procession came from Khudus Compound to Gaondevi Road, main road, some boys were harassing a known friend Shubham Raut, aged 22 years, so the complainant along with his other friend Ajit Zhore aged 34 years went there to resolve the matter and rescue his friend.

Warning the complainant & his friend, not to get into on-going fight, the accused namely, 1) Raj Kolbandrekar, age- 19 years 2) Sagar Kamble, age 27 years  3)  Sahil Shinde, age 22 years, threw the iron weight on the scale of the roadside vegetable stall at the complainant and hit his friend Ajit Zhore on the head, who started bleeding. Also Raj Kolbandrekar had hit them with his hands and then all of them ran away

At that time, our friend Shubham Raut told the complainant that he warned those accused persons not to disturb the boys and girls of his class, thus angered by this, they had come to beat him. I accompanied friend Ajit Zhore for treatment at Shatabdi Hospital Kandivali and then to lodge to complaint against the accused, who attacked, abused and threatened him.  

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Pravin Rane.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him and he confirmed the same.
